Continue to Speak Out and Demonstrate Non-Violently as Did Martin Luther King, and Mahatma Gandhi, and, So many other Women and Men, who Believed in Equanimity and a World of Social Justice that Embraced All Sentient, and Inanimate Beings!

To Those of You Who have Stayed The Course, I offer You these Words of Encouragement, "You are Not Alone!"

To Those of You Who have Momentarily Lost Your Way, Keep the Faith, and, Do not Give Up Hope!

To those Voices of Reason, and Peacemakers Who are, Still, Engaged in Non-Violent Demonstrations, We Can Be a Great Soul Force of Truth, and, The Light!
And, although this is The New Millennium, and, Not the Late 1960's, the Impediments to a Peacetime Economy, are still the same! "We" are Still Being Manipulated by a Capitalistic Oligarchy!

Do Not Give in to Greed, and, Lust! Do Not Believe the Lies, and Half Truths that "We" are Being Media Fed!

Stay United in Numbers! Stay Strong in Your Beliefs! Stay True to a Way of Life that Embraces All Sentient, and, Inanimate Beings!
And, Most of All, Do Not Give Up!

Indian Summer Activism!

I love the weather as it changes after the Labor Day holiday. Especially the Feeling of Indian Summer, as Autumn approaches!
And, today, is Such a Day in the Northeastern part of the U.S.

However, as I enjoy the Beauty of this day, I am Filled with Mixed Feelings.
This is the Same Feeling that I had Earlier this Year.
Think about it, We're, still, involved in 3 Wars, aren't we?
And, the Unemployment Rate is around 9.7 the Highest its been in Decades, so, What is there, Really, to Feel Good About!
Certainly not, the News Media, whether it be the Main Stream Media, Cable News Media, Tabloid Journals, Whatever the Form of Media it may be, "They" are All Very Disturbing! They, (the Infamous They) simply do not Report the News.
There is Always a Spin on it, instead of Reporting it, as it is!

And, I'm Still Waiting for the World Religious Bodies to Stand up, and, Make a Statement Calling for an End of War! And, an End of Dishonesty, in The Global Financial Community! And, an End of Poverty, Homelessness, Greed, and, Lust for Power, amongst the Major Industrialized Countries!

And, isn't it Time for an End of Genocide, Wherever it May Occur on the Face of This Planet!

And, isn't it Time for a Global Peacetime Economy to Re-occur!
This is The Change that I have been Expecting to Take Place in The New Millennium!
A Change based on a Non-Militaristic, Culturally, Technologically, Scientifically, Philosophically, Financially, and, Spiritual Evolution for One and All to Benefit By!

And, so, You can see Why it is, still, Very Difficult for me to Feel at Peace with the State of Being of Our Planet!

Once again, I Call upon Voices of Reason, and, Peacemakers, to Come Forth as One Great Soul Force, and, Non-Violently Demonstrate, Debate, and, Demand that Our World Leaders, and, Terrorists, Whomever, and Wherever You May Be to Give Peace a Chance (as John & Yoko sang, so, many years ago)!

Let us All Call for a Truce of Contemplation! A Time for Recollection, a Time for Dialogue, and Reflection! A Time for Discussion!
How else are "We" to Resolve Our Differences, Unless "We" Take the Time to Meet with Our Enemies!
Let's Call for a Global Truce, to Last for One Year! To Make a Sincere Attempt to Work out, and Find Solutions for the Myriad, Diverse Problems that have Caused the Deterioration of Human Behavioral Conditions! Is that Too Much to Ask For!

"We Can All Benefit from a Shared Prosperity, "We" Can All Benefit from One World Living in Peace, Harmony, Equanimity, and Equality!
Think of Living in a World of Non-Polluted Ecological Grace on This The Third Planet from The Sun!

Another Twelve Deaths In the Iraq/ Afghanistan Wars!

If there ever was a Time for Voices of Reason to Step Forward, and, Voice their Opinions, Now is that Time!

Has any one in the U.S. Congress, or, in the Obama Administration, Sincerely, Assessed the Death, and, Destruction that Lies ahead for the U.S., and, Our Allies in the New Escalation of War in Afghanistan, and, Pakistan!
The Ill Managed War in Iraq was one thing, But, to Do it All Over again in Afghanistan, is, Just Too Much to Imagine!
Doesn't any one remember the Fiasco that Took Place in Vietnam!
And, how Divided the U.S. was Over it!
Do"We the People" need more Division in our Lives?
Isn't the Partisan Politics that is on Display in Washington, and, althrough-out the U.S. Enough!
Isn't it More than Obvious that the Time has Come for a New Re-Assessment in the Direction that Our, (so called) Democracy is Headed in!
And, How is it Possible that Our Elective Officials Can Miss the Negative Effect that Un-employment is Having on Their Constituencies, and, the U.S.Economy!
How can "They" (once again the Infamous They) Miss what is so Obvious, which is The Lack of Faith that "We" have in their Abilities to Represent, and, Guide us, in Ways that are Beneficial to Our Way of Life!

Our Elective Officials Spend Billions, if Not, Trillions of Dollars on War, which Causes the Deaths of Our Children, and, Yet They are Unwilling to Invest in our Health care, that Can Be a Life Saving Gift to All of Us!

What Kind of Rationale is this? What is their Agenda?
When will They begin to Represent "We the People" of The United States of America?
Or, Is it their Intention to Continue Perpetuating Divisive Policies that,Only, Benefit their Own Self Interests, and,
The Lobbyists, who are Backing them, and, Contributing Large Sums of Money to Finance Their Campaigns!

Why isn't it Obvious to them that, This is Not the Time for Selfishness, and Greed! This is Not the Time for Partisan Politics!
This is the Time for Us to Come Together as One People of this The Third Planet from The Sun!

"We" All Share a Sacred Partnership under The Moon and The Sun!
"We" All Share a Sacred Partnership as Citizens of This Planet, And, The Universe that "We" are apart of!

It is Time for a Universal Consciousness to Re-Place the Divisive One that has Caused Distrust, Hate, Poverty, Disease, The Pollution of This Earth, and, An Abuse of All that "We" Hold Sacred, Our Children!

Time is Definitely of The Essence!

How Much Is Too Much!

At what Point do "We" say Enough is Enough! "We are told that the Recession is Over! Well, Tell that to a Family of Americans Living in A Tent City, because, They've Lost Their Home due to the Mortgage Crises!

Tell that to the Millions of Americans who are out of Work, and, Can Not Find any Employment!

Tell that to the Two (2) Million Children Living in Poverty in the U.S. of A.

Tell that to the Retiree's who are Trying to Make ends Meet, after They've Spent their Whole Lives Working, Paying Taxes, and, Looking Forward to the Day when They could Enjoy Their Lives, in Retirement!

Tell that to the School Teachers, The Fire Men and Women, Postal Employee's, and Police Department, who've All had to Endure Cut Backs, while trying to Serve the Public!

And, "We the People" are, Continuously, asked Over and Over Again to Endure Governmental, and, Financial Corruption!

"We" are asked to Send our Children to Fight in Undeclared Wars, on Foreign Soil, with Reasons that have been Falsely Based, and, Manipulated to Support Political Agendas that are Not in Our Common Interest!

And, so, I ask You, when is Enough going to Be Enough! How Much Blood has to Be Spilt before "We the People" are Given the Respect, and, Honesty that our Forefathers, and Foremothers Gave their Lives to Protect, and, Build our Future on!

How Much More are "We" to Endure!

As "We" Celebrate this Last Holiday Weekend of Summer, Let us All, Say a Prayer, Meditate, or, Simply Take a Moment to Reflect on Those Brave Men and Women who are Engaged in Battle Fronts, in Three Wars!
The War in Iraq (where Lives are Still Being Lost) Afghanistan/Pakistan, and, The Global War on Terror (now being referred to as The Overseas Contingency Operation, by the Obama Administration!

And, so, I Say to You who are In Harms Way, You are the True Heroes of the Day!

You Give Your Lives to Protect Our Principles, and Our Way of Life!

You Place Your Lives in Danger for Country, and Honor!

You Protect Those who are Defenseless, No matter what Race, Color, Creed, or Nationality they may be!

"We" can Never Thank You Enough for Your Selfless Sacrifice, and Duty!

"We the People" of this The Third Planet from The Sun, Salute You, and, Honor You!

And, May You Come Home Safe and Sound to Your Families, Friends, Neighbors, and, Country, as Honored Veterans!

And, to Your Families, Always Remember that the Hearts and Souls of "We the People" are Eternally with You!
